The Covid-19 pandemic has forced us to realize how fragile our communities are.

The pandemic has changed our neighborhoods, hurt our workforce, burdened renters and homeowners alike, and pushed people into homelessness. Meanwhile, band-aid solutions are what govern our communities.

We Rise for Women’s Rights

As Women’s Rights are under attack nationally, we must ensure our State Constitution defends bodily autonomy.

We Rise for

Housing

Housing is a human right and we must continue to strengthen protections for tenants and homeowners.

We Rise for

Transit

Transit is critical to the health of our communities and we must increase access so residents can navigate our neighborhoods

We Rise

for

Justice

The arc of justice must bend for the people. We need to help those made vulnerable by a system designed to fail them.

We Rise for Education

We need to fully fund our education system, center our students, and increase parent engagement.

We Rise for

Arts & Culture

Culture is the core of NY State’s economy and the number one driver of tourism, but it can also stimulate creativity locally.

We Rise for

Workers' Rights

The labor movement is a central beacon in the movement for racial, economic, & social justice.

We Rise for

Equality

New York must firmly defend equality in opposition to federal actions that threaten our rights & risk our safety.

We Rise for

Animal Rights

All animals deserve dignity, whether at home or on a farm. We must work against cruelty to defend our animal friends.

We Rise for our Environment

Climate change is exposing long-term vulnerabilities in our region - from health to housing, and our coastal resilience.

We Rise for

Public Safety

Without truly addressing the issues that lead to crime and violence, we will never feel completely safe.

We Rise for Healthcare

The Pandemic has revealed how New York's health system has failed. We must work toward significant health equity.

We Rise for Immigrant Rights

New York must always be a beacon for immigrants and a welcoming sanctuary for those seeking refuge.
