America at the Crossroads: Choosing Resilience Amidst Division

This is a hard truth to accept. We can't lay the blame on outside forces, say she was the wrong candidate, or that Walz was a misstep. This goes deeper. The American people made a choice, and it speaks volumes: authoritarianism over democracy, division over unity, blame over shared strength.

This isn’t just a political outcome; it’s a defining moment for our country—a crossroads where we decide the kind of nation we want to be. That decision will echo for generations.

Every national security advisor, every economist, every former cabinet member—they all warned us. He tried to overturn an election, stripped away women’s rights, openly fueled division, and yet here we are. I don’t understand it.

Kamala Harris didn’t lose; America did. We let her down, and in doing so, we failed all the women who believed in her, along with the girls, the LGBTQ communities, people of color, the poor, the elderly—the very soul of this nation.

But despite this choice, I stand by mine. I stand with the women who fought tirelessly for this campaign, and I’d do it all over again. We’ll take a deep breath and keep pushing.

Yes, the mission stays the same, but the landscape has shifted. It’s a moment of grief and uncertainty; the path ahead feels long and uneasy. But this is our moment, and we are built for it.
